Installer terms
The service
On Solar Report, homeowners ask up to three nearby installers for a solar PV price, compare them and choose who gets their contact details.
The service is currently free for installers. If a fee is ever introduced, we will email you at least 30 days before, and it will only apply with your agreement.
Your login
You create your login by sending your first price. You confirm that you may act for the company and that the details you give are correct.
You sign in with a code we email you: don’t share it.
Your prices
The price you send is your offer to the homeowner for the system described in the request. It must be realistic, include VAT as shown, and stay valid until the date you choose.
The contract and the work are between you and the homeowner. Solar Report is not a party to them and does not guarantee that the homeowner chooses you.
The homeowner’s details
Before the choice you see the town, the roof and the system asked for, with no name or contact details. If the homeowner chooses you, you receive their name, email, phone and address.
From then on you are their data controller: use them only to answer this request, don’t pass them on, and delete them when no longer needed.
Your company page
Changes to your page are published straight away. The content must be accurate and the photos your own.
We may correct or remove inaccurate or unlawful content, and restore an earlier version.
Emails and stopping
We email you about requests from homeowners near you, reminders and the outcome. You can pause or stop requests at any time, in the installer area or with the link in every email.
You can ask us to close your login whenever you like. We may suspend a login that is misused.
