TJS Solar

TJS Solar is the solar business of TJS Electrical Ltd, an electrical contractor set up in Leigh in 2017 that moved into solar installation in 2024. Working for homes and businesses across Greater Manchester and the North West, it says it has completed more than 200 residential and commercial installations. The company is MCS certified for solar PV and battery storage (MCS certificate IAA-10190, checked on the MCS installer search on 25 September 2026) and is a member of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC), confirmed in RECC's member search on 25 September 2026.

Its services cover residential and commercial solar panels, battery storage and EV charging, and it helps customers set up smart time-of-use tariffs. A home survey of the roof, energy use and goals leads to a system design and written proposal. The in-house team handles scaffolding, panel fitting, inverter installation and the electrical work, then commissions the system, shows the customer the monitoring app, registers the MCS certificate and notifies the network operator. Aftercare includes ongoing performance monitoring.

Its preferred system is the Sigenergy SigenStor, which combines inverter, battery and EV charging; it also installs SolarEdge inverters and Tesla Powerwall batteries.
