UK Alternative Energy Ltd, based in North Hykeham, Lincolnshire, has been trading since 2009 and works for homeowners, businesses, schools and councils. An adviser surveys the home or site before a written quotation is issued; the company says its in-house team carries out the installation, and it handles paperwork including building-regulations notification and helps with the Smart Export Guarantee application. Aftercare includes service reminders and maintenance. Its battery installations include Tesla Powerwall and SolarEdge Home Battery systems.

Projects shown on its website include homes in Louth, Lincoln and Sudbrooke with solar PV and Tesla Powerwall batteries, commercial installations in Bardney and York, and a solar PV and battery system at a leisure centre in Lincoln.
