SunGift Solar

Founded in 2005 and based in Exeter, SunGift Solar installs solar systems for homeowners, businesses, new-build developers and community projects. It is MCS certified for solar PV and battery storage (MCS certificate NIC-2507, checked on the MCS installer search on 25 September 2026) and says it has completed more than 9,000 installations.

Its work covers residential solar PV, commercial and ground-mounted arrays, solar carports, battery storage and EV charging points, along with servicing for domestic and commercial systems. Each project starts with a site survey and shading analysis, followed by a bespoke system design, and the company's in-house team carries out the installation. Monitoring and aftercare follow, with scheduled maintenance every three years for homes and every year for commercial sites.

SunGift installs Tesla Powerwall 2 and Powerwall 3 batteries and Sigenergy battery systems, and fits AIKO solar panels. Its projects include rooftop systems on homes in Kenn and Bradninch, a battery retrofit in Exmouth, a new-build home in Newton Abbot, 40 new homes around Plymouth and the South Hams for a housebuilder, solar carports for the local council in Exeter and a 23.5 kWp farm shop roof in Boscastle, Cornwall.
