Sunlit Solar

Sunlit Solar is the solar side of what it describes as a family-run electrical business at Westhay, near Glastonbury. The company says it has more than 20 years' experience installing solar systems across Somerset and the South West, and it is MCS certified for solar PV and battery storage (MCS certificate NIC-1203, checked on the MCS installer search on 25 September 2026).

It installs residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage, on pitched and flat roofs or ground-mounted, and takes on community solar schemes. A site survey and consultation lead to a system designed for the property, and the company says its own electrical engineers carry out the installation. Its case studies include a 19.2 kWp array on a barn conversion, a village hall in Blackford and Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford.
